At low tides the grizzlies come down to the water’s edge to roll rocks for crabs and isopods. At mid tide the grizzly bears are eating sedge grass along the beachfront. Sedge grass has 22% protein content, and bears eat enough to sustain their weight. At high tide the grizzlies have berries for dessert. We drift quietly alongside...
